The NC Division of Water Resources Wetland Science and Outreach Team is currently working on an update to the 1996 “Field Guide to North Carolina Wetlands”. This guide explains what makes up a wetland, describes the many types of wetlands in the state, and includes information on where to find them as well as current threats. The updated guide will be published as a full color booklet, as well as a free downloadable PDF.
